Earth Day Logo_TNI_OLThe Nature Institute (TNI) is excited to host the 6th annual Riverbend Earth Day Festival, in partnership with the Great Rivers Land Trust, the Alton Regional CVB, the National Great Rivers Research and Education Center/Lewis and Clark Community College and the Sierra Club. This event is FREE and open to all.

The event will be held, rain or shine, at Piasa Harbor in Godfrey, Ill, which is located on Route 100 / the Great River Road, across from Lockhaven Golf Club.

Let’s celebrate Earth Day together for this celebration of nature, music, food, and the arts. Guests can participate in organized hiking and clean ups, enjoy fresh and local foods, and peruse unique goods by local vendors and artists.

Other features will include live music, a children’s activities with nature-inspired arts and crafts, hands-on informational booths, and other opportunities.

Want to lend a helping hand for the Riverbend’s only Earth Day Celebration? Check out our opportunities HERE.

Sponsor and vendor registration is now open.

We are looking to showcase any nature, conservation or outdoors focused group that would like to share information about their services or provide an educational activity for children or adults. We are also highlighting local eco-artisans at this premier environmental showcase! This event continues to see hundreds of people throughout the day. Last year’s event brought an estimated 1500 visitors!

We have improved the experience for our vendors. Enjoy the event with a better layout that will make set up and vendor parking easier, allow no vendors to be pushed at the end of the festival and create a better space for visitors to see what you have to offer!

Review the options for inclusion below and then click your registration option.
