D.E.E.R (Discovery, Education, Environmental Research) is a speaker series catered to adults that are looking to learn about a variety of nature topics.

These workshops are free and open to the public. This group meets the last Monday night of each month August through April. What is sustainability and why should we live a life that is sustainable? Each month discuss different topics that will help you be a responsible citizen to Mother Earth such as; how to grocery shop responsibly, how to compost, why we recycle, and where our recycling goes.

This evening we will stroll back in time to when John M. Olin still held the main portion of property that is now owned by TNI. Hear facts and stories from local historian Larry Reid and listen as you learn more about Olin’s life, work, and his impact on the Riverbend area.

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is requested. You may reserve your spot below.
