Knee-High Naturalists

Knee-High Naturalists is a nature program just for little people 3-5 years old. We meet the second Wednesday of every month (Sept-Nov & Jan-April) at Talahi Lodge. Young naturalists go on an interpretive hike (as weather permits), enjoy a craft and snack, and get to take home a book at the end of the day.

Because supplies are limited, parents must register by phone no later than the Friday before the Wednesday sessions. The cost is $5 per child, which can be paid when you arrive. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate walk-ins. Older siblings are welcome to attend, but may not be able to participate in all activities.

Morning session 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Afternoon session 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Programs will resume in September 2013

Youth Programs

Discovery Day Camp 2013

Kindergarten through 5^th & 6^th grade camps:

Non-members              $160.00 per camper

TNI Members             $140.00 per camper

Kindergarten through 5th and 6th grade camps are
M-F from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Pre-K camp:

Non-members              $110.00 per camper

TNI Members               $90.00 per camper

Pre-K camp is M-F from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Tuition includes: the $25 registration fee, a TNI camp t-shirt, snacks throughout week, take home crafts, 5:1 camper to counselor ratio, educational curriculum, guest speaker and a Friday family picnic. We accept check, cash, credit or debit cards.

Become a member of TNI and save!

A Family Membership ($50/year) entitles you and your family to early registration and discounts on Discovery Day Camp, invitations to various special events hosted by TNI throughout the year, an annual newsletter and discounted rates on all other adult and childrens programs! You will also be assisting us in accomplishing our preservation, restoration and education goals.

Additional Discounts

We offer a $10 discount for every additional child of the same family attending camp (i.e. first child $160.00, second child $150.00, third child $150.00).

Get an additional $5 off if you pay camp tuition in full at the time of registration!
