DESCRIPTION:Unfortunately\, we have to cancel the bird banding program due 
 to unforeseen events. At this time we can not reschedule this spring\, but
  hopefully\, we will be able to offer this program again in the future.\nJ
 oin Travis Wilcoxen\, a biology professor at Millikin University and licen
 sed bird bander for a morning of capturing\, measuring\, and banding resid
 ent and migratory birds at The Nature Institute. This program will be comp
 letely outdoors and an open house style event. Travis will have nets up an
 d will demonstrate how to safely handle the birds and explain why banding 
 is important. $10/member ticket and $12/nonmember ticket.\n\n\n 	April 20
