DESCRIPTION:Join us at The Nature Institute on February 7\, 2026\, from 9 A
 M to 1 PM for a delightful day of eagle watching in a warm environment wit
 h stunning views. The Mississippi Sanctuary is typically closed on weekend
 s\, so seize this rare opportunity to enjoy the scenery\, grab a snack\, a
 nd sip a warm drink to energize your eagle watching experience. Throughout
  the morning\, we will keep a tally of the eagles spotted from the sanctua
 ry. Use this map if you have never been to the Mississippi Sanctuary.\n\nO
 ur staff will be available to answer any questions and guide you to your n
 ext destination if you're unsure where to go. This open house will also se
 rve as a fundraiser for the Environmental Education Association of Illinoi
 s (EEAI).\n\nAnyone can contribute to EEAI by making a flat donation or pl
 edging $1 for every eagle we see on February 7. Every contribution\, no ma
 tter how small\, is appreciated.\nThe Environmental Education Association 
 of Illinois (EEAI) consists of dedicated individuals committed to educatin
 g people of all ages about the importance of understanding and protecting 
 our environment.\nSince its inception\, EEAI has been a leader within the 
 environmental education community at local\, state\, and national levels\,
  providing professional development services for both formal and informal 
 educators. As hosts of various professional development events and curricu
 lums like Growing Up WILD\, Project Learning Tree\, and the Midwest Enviro
 nmental Education Consortium\, EEAI has established a professional standar
 d that educators have come to rely on.\n\n
