SUMMARY:Illinois RiverWatch Training Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Illinois RiverWatch Network is a statewide\, non-profit\, v
 olunteer stream monitoring program. Volunteers are trained and certified a
 s community scientists to monitor and protect a local stream. Upon complet
 ing training and becoming certified\, volunteers adopt a stream site and m
 onitor water quality through habitat and macroinvertebrate surveys. We hav
 e a limited number of scholarships. Please reach out to RiverWatch staff i
 f the cost of the workshop is deterring you from attending.\n\nThis RiverW
 atch training will occur at The Nature Institute on April 27 from 9am to 4
 pm. RiverWatch trainers from the National Great Rivers Research and Educat
