The Nature Institute
Have you always wanted to know more about the local history of Godfrey and Alton? Come out for a day of stories. A few people you will encounter are an explorer on the Lewis and Clark journey, a young lady that attended the Lincoln and Douglas debate in 1858, hear about John M. Olin, the person that our largest preserve is named after, and some of the people that made TNI possible with their love of nature and children.
This event is open to the public with a $10 suggestion donation. Come any time between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
