DESCRIPTION:Native plants beautify landscapes and help support songbirds an
 d other cherished wildlife. A wide variety of native wildflowers\, grasses
 \, sedges\, vines\, shrubs\, and trees supplied by four vendors will be av
 ailable for purchase at a Missouri Prairie Foundation (MPF) native plant s
 ale organized in partnership with The Nature Institute\, 2213 S. Levis Ln.
 \, Godfrey\, IL 62035 on Saturday\, September 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.
 m.\n\nGrow Native! Professional vendors at this event include Green Thumb 
 Nursery\, River City Natives\, and Sam’s Native Nursery. The Nature In
 stitute will also participate as a fourth vendor. Some vendors accept cas
 h\, check\, or credit cards\; some only cash or checks. Shoppers may begin
  browsing product selections\, making purchases\, and picking up pre-order
 s from each vendor at the advertised start time. “Early birds” will be
  asked to wait until the advertised start time to begin shopping. Voluntee
 rs will be available to assist customers.\n\nCheck MPF's Plant Sale page

  and to find pre-order information.A portion of sale proceeds will be dona
 ted to benefit the conservation work of the Missouri Prairie Foundation an
 d The Nature Institute. The Missouri Prairie Foundation is a 59-year-old 
 prairie conservation organization and land trust. In addition to its prair
 ie conservation work\, the Missouri Prairie Foundation also runs Grow Nati
 ve!\, a 25-year-old native plant marketing and education program\, and adm
 inisters the Missouri Invasive Plant Council. The Nature Institute is a 4
 5-year-old land conservation and environmental education organization base
