You’re not the only one that is busy this time of year. Our area’s plants and animals are also busy preparing for colder temps. Join us this evening for a discussion lead by Ramona Puskar, TNI education director, to learn some details about how the woodland adapts to fall and winter. Guests will learn why broad leaf trees drop their leaves while evergreens hold on to theirs. The group will also talk about the difference between hibernation and brumation during a guided hike through TNI trails to search for signs of the changing season.

This hike is open to all and is free for current TNI members and $5 for non-members. To register, please fill out the form below.
