 ion_button]\n\nJoin up with our stewardship team and other volunteers to c
 lear out honeysuckle and other invasive species at The Nature Institute. T
 his workday is scheduled in collaboration with the Missouri Botanical Gard
 en as a way to get people all across the Metro-east clearing our valuable 
 native habitats of harmful invasive species.\n\nParticipants will get a qu
 ick lesson on how to identify bush honeysuckle and a few other easy to ide
 ntify invasive species. Then with hand tools and manual pulling\, the whol
 e group will work in an area to clear as much as we can. Herbicide will be
  used sparingly by trained staff members to "paint" the stumps\, helping t
 o knock back the regrowth as much as possible.\n\nThe workday will run fro
 m 9am to 12pm on March 13. Be sure to bring a bottle of water\, gloves\, b
 ug spray\, and sunscreen. Long pants and close-toed shoes are required to 
 participate in the workday. Park in the rock lot at Talahi Lodge. Bathroom
 s will be available before and after the workday.\n\nPlease register just 
 so we have an idea of how many people to expect.\n\n&nbsp\;
