Movie Nights at TNI
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the release of Peter Jackson’s “Lord of the Rings” trilogy. Therefore, we will celebrate by watching various movies set in J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle Earth! Come experience the awe and majesty of this bygone age and see the natural beauty of the lands of the fourth age with us this year at TNI. This free event takes place monthly from April through October. Watch a classic movie on our giant inflatable screen. Bring your own seating (lawn chairs or blankets), as well as your own snacks. No alcohol is permitted. See below for our upcoming presentations. No pre-registration required. While this event is FREE, donations are welcome! Limited parking is available, so arrive early to grab your seat.
The Hobbit (1977) - April 18, 8:30 pm
Animated/Fantasy: A homebody hobbit in Middle Earth gets talked into joining a quest with a group of dwarves to recover their treasure from a dragon.
The Lord of the Rings (1978) - May 9, 8:30 pm
Animated/Fantasy: The Fellowship of the Ring embark on a journey to destroy the One Ring and end Sauron's reign over Middle-earth.
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring - June 20, 9 pm
Fantasy: A meek Hobbit from the Shire and eight companions set out on a journey to destroy the powerful One Ring and save Middle-earth from the Dark Lord Sauron.
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers - July 18, 9 pm
Fantasy:While Frodo and Sam edge closer to Mordor with the help of the shifty Gollum, the divided fellowship makes a stand against Sauron's new ally, Saruman, and his hordes of Isengard.
The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King - August 15, 8:30 pm
Fantasy: Gandalf and Aragorn lead the World of Men against Sauron's army to draw his gaze from Frodo and Sam as they approach Mount Doom with the One Ring.
The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim - September 19, 7:30 pm
Animated/Fantasy: A sudden attack by Wulf, a clever and traitorous lord of Rohan seeking vengeance for the death of his father, forces Helm Hammerhand, the King of Rohan, and his people to make a daring last stand in the ancient stronghold of the Hornburg.
The Return of the King (1980) - October 17, 7 pm
Animated/Fantasy: Two Hobbits struggle to destroy the Ring in Mount Doom while their friends desperately fight evil Lord Sauron's forces in a final battle.
