2022 TNI Wildflower Market

Come purchase native plants for your yard at the 2022 Wildflower Market on August 27th, from 9am-12pm.

Native plants are a wonderful addition to any planting because they will attract valuable pollinators, birds and other animals, will be relatively easy to maintain, and will thrive in our variable Midwestern seasons. As with all plants you place in your yard, do a bit of research to find the plants that will do the best in the conditions. To help you with this endeavor, we have put together a guide with the plants that The Nature Institute will have available. The guide includes growing conditions (light and water requirements) as well as bloom period, color, and size.

This year we welcome the Restoration Ecology Program from Lewis and Clark Community College to sell plants they have been growing. This summer sale will feature less species than our past spring sales, but there are still lots of great plants to choose from for your home landscaping project.

Note: Our swamp milkweed had a hard year between the unending heat wave and being eaten by aphids so this year our swamp milkweed will be available at the sale for a donation.
