Join expert birder, Bill Rowe, to learn more about our feathered friends. Rowe teaches adult birding classes at the Missouri Botanical Garden, leads field trips for the St. Louis Audubon Society, and has served as Secretary of the Missouri Bird Records Committee for many years. For most of his career, he was a teacher and administrator at Thomas Jefferson School, St. Louis.
Saturday, March 21, 9:00 – 11:00 am
Start the morning inside the lodge with a 30-45 minute presentation. Head outside for a 45 minute birding walk (flat terrain, < 1 mile). Dress in layers, wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring your reusable water bottle. Please bring your binoculars if you have them. FREE but please register below for event.
***11:15 am to Noon – There is an optional side trip afterwards to the Audubon Riverlands, West Alton, MO. Rowe will set up scopes to view aquatic birds and teach birders about local and migrating waterfowl (No transportation provided).
